Featured Posts are pulling full size images instead of thumbnail

In the THEME options under the HOME tab is the options for the Featured Posts that appear on the home page. These posts, when rendered on the live page, are pulling the full size image instead of the thumbnail causing for slow load time and a "laggy" page.

Example: Copy one of the thumbnail image URL's and paste it in a new tab. Such as: http://hungryinhouston.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/hoisin_sriracha.jpg

It's huge.

It appears running the Regen Thumbnails fixes the issue - I was assuming the previous thumbnails from 1.5 would have been called.

I don't see a "Regen thumbnails" option anywhere on the theme options. The Arras theme had that feature, but even that doesn't work for large sites.
