Zyn-Fusion crashes VST host on Windows 7 Ultimate #172

Upon closing the interface in a VST Host (REAPER, LMMS) on Windows 7 Ultimate, the host crashes. In the case of REAPER, the entire DAW immediately shuts down and the audio engine (ASIO4ALL linked to JACK Router and ASIO Bridge) crashes as well. REAPER still crashes even if I choose the dummy audio engine. In the case of LMMS, the Zyn-Fusion interface fails to load entirely and LMMS becomes completely unresponsive and must be shut down, giving the error message "RemoteVstPlugin.exe has stopped working". Both prebuilt binaries of the Windows demo versions were tested repeatedly with the exact same results every time.

No other VST plugin does this on my system, including the unofficial classic VST of ZynAddSubFX.

I am unable to confirm if the standalone does the same as it cannot be minimized, but it can be closed in its entirety without causing any problems with my system.

Can you confirm if this impacts all recent versions or only the most recent version?

Sorry for the long delay. I got really frustrated with trying to figure this out and fighting with my DAW and file management of all the downloads and installations. Not one worked. Every one crashed the DAW.

That's rather unusual and indicates to me that something is unique about your system as I have tested older versions on windows 7 with reaper and did not observe the issue. I tend to do my windows testing on physical machines which I have sporadic access to. I should be able to verify if I can replicate any similar issue later this month. Thanks for following up and confirming that multiple versions are impacted.
