Cannot find proper Formant-filter GUI and -documentation. #80

Formant-filter needs proper documentation (seems to be on your TODO list already) Also I cannot find Formant-filter-specific controls (e.g. I cannot find the EDIT button for the formant filter that was present in old versions) (I tested standalone Zyn Fusion 3.0.1 demo under Microsoft Windows 10 64 bit)

The controls are there, though how to use them certainly could be documented more.

To access these controls:

  1. Change to one of the tabs that shows general filter parameters
  2. Change the filter class to 'FORMANT'
  3. Click on the header of the group of parameter (i.e. 'GENERAL' in the below screenshot)

I didn't know that "GENERAL", "ENVELOPE" and "LFO" are buttons and not just headings for the controls below. Apparently my problems will be gone, once the new GUI is documented. The formant filter however needs a thorough tutorial. I had problems finding information on how to use this in (any) synthesizer. If it is capable of transforming a saw-wave or similar signal into all cardinal vowels as known from speech (a, ae, e, y, i, o, u ,etc) a complete list of presets / a video tutorial would be great.

BTW - I recently made an extensive video about Zyn's formant filter, but I used the 2.x interface. You might find it helpful to grasp the concepts, Mark made some cool mockups of how the interface could me improved after watching it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y93Jh1UIpys
