Try booting the zynthian with the USB keyboard connected. It seems that when connecting an USB keyboard after jack start, MOD-UI behaviour is "strange". Anyway, it's not consistent. I've made a lot of testing and i've not found a "good" way of managing MOD-UI's MIDI input connections.
Anyway, you are right and we should change the pedalboards as you say, for using the Zynthian Main Out
Describe the bug The sample pedalboards included in the base Zynthian image are suboptimal. An example is that RHODES VINTAGE has its MIDI input fed from the Serial MIDI input which means USB MIDI fails to control this synth. It would be better to route "Hardware Zynthian Main Out" so that any MIDI input device will trigger the synth.
