The repository has not been updated in over 5 years. Don't expect that from this library.

Indeed, this repo was not being updated since 2019. It seems the maintainer @zyro is still around according to his Github history.. I hope he is doing well... He might not have the time anymore.. Anyone interested if we go with a fork? And maybe in order to avoid confusion, @zyro might also accept to transfer hex package ownership to the new fork?
