apologies if these questions are very basic; this is not my first hackintosh but it is the first time i have tried to make a hackintosh laptop be perfect.
i recently got an X1E (8750H) and used Errrneist's guide to install 10.14.6 using Clover. at this point it is nearly complete. however one large outstanding issue is the touchpad. VoodooPS2Controller has some bugs that make click-and-drag almost impossible, among other issues. so my question is, can i use the Voodoo kexts in your repo on my current install? for that matter, can i use any of the others?
i may attempt to migrate from Clover to OpenCore at some point, but it's daunting. however i do not plan to upgrade to 10.15 or beyond, as there is a lot of legacy software that i use.
