Initial configuration problems #544

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configuration wizard
2. Active Directory - store responses in a database
3. etc all green/good
4. Save Configuration

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Does not save config and gives this error:

error while selecting step: RequestError: Unable to load 
ConfigGuide?processAction=gotoStep&pwmFormID=hnt3t1DmKqR2a1l7ie6eD2qx7vgnSGau144
6be257b06ntfkt&step=FINISH&dojo.preventCache=1393380602510 status: 500

What version of PWM are you using?
1.7.1 also tried 1.7.0
on CentOS 6.5 tried tomcat6 from yum and apache-tomcat-7.0.52.tar.gz and tried 
jdk 1.6 and 1.7

What ldap directory and version are you using?
Active Directory 2003

having the same problem with a fresh install.

You may want to provide some more details or logging, so we can assist, unless 
you actually do want to give up, of course.

Maybe you can help me. I'm seeing the following in the monitor
This may be due to me not knowing what to not knowing what to put in the 
Database Class Box
Database server is not available: 5051 ERROR_DB_UNAVAILABLE (get operation 
failed: WEB-INF/lib/mapdb-0.9.3.jar)

and

Unexpected error while testing ldap test user: [LDAP: error code 50 - 00000005: 
SecErr: DSID-031A1190, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0 ]

How do I make use of the localdb instead of using mysql?

Please ask for help on the pwm-general google group.  Bug reports are not 
appropriate for help questions.

death666.gamer should look into NetIQ SSPR since he obviously does not have the 
patience for open source.  We just did not use the wizard due to the bug above 
and manually configured it. Once we got past the configuration learning curve 
it has been working fine.  Thanks for a wonderful piece of software!
