dbsnp TSV file no longer available

Hello- the dbsnp file you reference in the install documentation is no longer available. Can you direct me to a copy of the file? Or perhaps add it to the repo?

Hi John,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Those files (>1GB) exceeds the file size limit of Github, so we have to make it available on our own server. We have noticed that the internet access to our server from some IPs outside China is not stable these days, and we are working on a solution. But can you try this link (http://mosaichunter.cbi.pku.edu.cn/download/dbsnp_137.b37.tsv.gz) again?

Has there been follow-up about the dbsnp file? I'm also having trouble accessing it, and the grch37 fasta is also experiencing the same issue.

Sorry for my late reply. I just tried the links for the dbsnp and fasta files and they seem to be working from my side. Can you make another try? If they are still not working, let me know and I will try to share them from other resources.

Thanks for getting back to me! I tried the link in this issue thread and received the same error message about the connection timing out (screenshot below). I am based in the US; do you think it's the same problem you mentioned earlier in this thread?

Hi Amy,

I am also based in the US now but don't have any issues accessing those files, so I guess some IPs may be blocked by the server for unknown reasons. Anyway, I made a dropbox link where you should be able to download those two files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/417eflmzoo6x4x2/AAA70LOMtrzFIXx4Fa0yvrPga?dl=0

Let me know if you still can't access them.
