Feature Request: hide on lose focus #60

Open couteau opened 10 years ago

couteau commented 10 years ago

Guake and Yakuake have an option to hide the terminal when it loses focus.

semente commented 10 years ago

That would be awesome!

MedicMomcilo commented 10 years ago

Such an awesome extension! I feel so empowered :) Please do try to make this request possible.

Keep up the good work friend!

I also expect this enhancement. It's a small feature but add big integration improvement.

I vote against this feature, unless it is going to be optional. Often I find it useful to write to background fullscreen window while having Drop down terminal is still open, from which I read/write at the same time.

zzrough commented 9 years ago

@PatrickTrentin88 that would clearly be an option. I for one leave a lot the terminal open just to see things, copy-paste, ... like you :)

It seems #128 is a dup of this one.

BTW, I am also eager for such option.

But the drop-down window is always hidden when lost focus on Fedora 25. How can I fix it?

But the drop-down window is always hidden when lost focus on Fedora 25.

I am not aware. Fedora 25 is just released, I did not install it yet.

Id like this feature too. Thanks for great work on the extension

For those that want this feature, here's a quick and dirty hack to enable this. https://gist.github.com/zawlin/1bd18562ccbe39b595420f2b7deef56b

nabei commented 6 years ago

@zawlin It doesn't work.
