I have the same exact problem. Tried another account with only about 15 buddies.

I am also having the same problem, I tried taking out msn account with no luck.
Everything works great under wifi, looks like the problem only occurs when on
Edge
network. I am on the T-mobile and I have the $20 internet addon if that helps
any.

I get the exact same issue on both Apollo IM and MobileChat (I'm also using
T-Mobile). I'm assuming that either it's an issue with the soft unlock, or
something
to do with the iPhone version of LibPurple. Perhaps both.

I am having the same issue and I live by aim/yahoo/msn. I can live with just
aim &
msn messengers alone for now. But having aim crash my apollo every single time
on
Edge is really not good. I have also noticed it doing the same thing with
mobilechat
also. I hope the next version fixes this as this is a really important app for
me to
use while on the road.

I'm having the same issue, and I'm on t-mobile UK. Crashes with MSN, too.

Same issue, 1.1.1 firmware, T-Mobile, $20 internet plan, Edge use only, haven't
tried with wireless...

this is definetly a libpurple issue. Sucks because now we don't have a working
aim
client if you're on tmobile without wifi.
