the editor seems to be heavily struggling at the moment with, at least, trying to replace DX11 shaders
doing a direct, unmodified replacement of shader/sm5/shpk/characterglass.shpk crashes if any asset is currently trying to access it. I haven't tested with other shaders
attempting to read or use shader/sm5/shpk/characterscroll.shpk (currently unlisted) will massively stall processing/disk read while it's active in the editor. overwriting characterglass with it will work after a few seconds, but trying to swap zones with that change active will crash the game
