What is the name or path of the file you are trying to open? Documents\FF14 Mods\Sugar\chara\human\c0101\animation\a0001\bt_common\emote\dance12_loop.pap What type of file is it (VFX, TMB, PAP, etc.)? PAP

getting the same

attempted taking the file off 'read only' still a no go.

ok in this case you can ignore the error message. Whatever tool was used to export this mod (either an older version of VFXEditor or something else) uses padding conventions which are different from the ones that SE's own files use.

I'll try to account for that and fix the error message, but unless you're getting unexpected behavior when editing the file, it should be fine to ignore
