Unofficial Netfabb Basic and/or Netfabb Free download archive.
Netfabb Basic is a free (as in free beer) software for 3D Printing and the STL file format. Numerous tools allow all steps of the fabrication process: editing, repairing, positioning, slicing and exporting triangulated CAD data. For professional use, the author offers commercial support and additional modules.
Netfabb was consumed by Autodesk and the software we loved, Netfabb Basic (later called Netfabb Free) is gone. Currently, trial version of Netfabb offers the features of the former Basic/Free editon after the trial expires, however it is only available for Windows. Older releases of Netfabb Basic/Free for all 3 major platforms are no longer available from the Netfabb website.
Since the license terms of Netfabb Basic (see LICENSE) allows us to share it, we are sharing installers of Netfabb found on our hard drives.
The PDF manuals are non-redistributable and currently still available from netfabb.com. If the release tarball contained them, they were removed.
