The game does not allow brand new accounts to play the game. This bug is present in both the published version and the debug version in visual studio.
Process to recreate the bug:
Create new account.
Log in with new account.
Click new game.
Click arena.
Game will say that it failed to retrieve a scenario and once you quit out the game it will give you an error message.
