Connect names with a tab. #28

A great plugin, and thank you for it!

Add another "Location" mode that connects the Text with Base that appears in front of the model connected to the model with a breakaway tab. This way, when you print an assembly with many parts, it is easy to identify which part is which even post removal from the build plate, and the text tab can be removed once its job is done. In a way combine the functionality of your spoon tabs with the Name It! plugin. Screenshot 2024-06-22 142542

I was also curious to know how to get started in computational geometry and contribute towards creating plugins or the slicer like you do. Do you think you can point me in the right direction?

Nice Idea must be investigated. For the second point and concerning Cura, you must have some basic Python knowledges. And the most important a project. Something you really needs to do or want to do. Have an Idea and try to do it.
