Metric rulers typically have a taller tick for the 5mm mark.
Some also have taller ticks for the even mm instead, 2, 4, 6, 8mm
This may be cool.

The current timer visualizer is quite thin, and could be harder to see. As a user, I would prefer a thicker or more prominent visualization for the timer. (it could remain a bar, or change form)
