Python 2 is simply called "Python" in Komodo, wheras Python 3 is called exactly that. This leads to users confusing "Python" with "Python 3". We should be explicit with our naming.

See screenshot. The project prefs don't seem to be able to detect a SCC repo. That project is in the root of the Komodo IDE repo on my PC.
 I would like to see the output from git when I make a commit in the commit dialog.

I am a new user of Komodo. I have just installed it. I was in the middle of the tutorial. For me, it was impossible toggling the icons of Source Control and Preview.
