I'll be the first to admit the new features in 0.4.0 aren't terribly exciting. What they are though, is foundational. This release lays the groundwork for a lot of core functionality that will come in 0.5 and 0.6. Even still, there's some good stuff in here too.
Features
.useItem <item ID> <target ID>
useItem is the star of this month's update
target ID can vary depending on the item that you're using it on. In the current implementation though, Target ID is always a creature when it is needed.
The error text of useItem isn't terribly helpful right now. a future 0.4.x release will add more robust error management for this feature.
.giveItem <item ID> <@user> <qty>
Allows one user to give another an item from their inventory
This does not enforce any trading rules, once you enter the command your item is gone to the other user
.releaseCreature <creatureID>
removes a creature from your lair
released creatures aren't gone forever! Instead they become a wild chorumfur that another user might find while foraging
There is currently no in-game reward for releasing creatures, but this is planned for a future release.
THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION ON THIS COMMAND. IF YOU ENTER THE COMMAND, THE CREATURE LEAVES PERMANENTLY.
.mate <creature A> <creature B> <Item to Use> now has the capability to take in an item ID as part of the command. This is to enable the use of a new class of item that will allow you to edit your chorumfurs before they're even born!

Hunting & Feasting is here, as well as the arrival of the Warm Season. New forage events, and a new event currency are available for you to discover!
