Eventually, the UI for IPFS functionality should be available in the AEG wallet Qt app. While there are many hurdles to take in order to make this happen, it is already possible to make progress in this direction as long as the UI can assume that the Nessus API and the IPFS API are available via RPC.
How these services are created is a different issue that can be solved in many different ways. For example ...
The user could be asked to run the IPFS daemon herself
The user could be ask to run provided docker containers
The Qt app could run the native go & java processes somehow
The Qt app could run provided docker containers somehow - similar to Kitematic
etc.
Good progress on this issue can still be made, while it remains undecided how these two services are packaged and managed.
