Neoplasm / Plasin #5081

Describe the content or mechanics you are proposing.

I've had this idea for a while as a sort of head canon that the neoplasm was alive and imagined it clumping together and using destroyed drones for combat to help spread more neoplasm. While Neoplasm is planned to make its own units, I do think it would be a neat idea for it to corrupt weak/destroyed units or buildings and manipulate them for its purposes, AND/OR destroy buildings and use the scrap/resources from it to create makeshift troops for itself. For example using tungsten for armor plating on the planned neoplasm troops or using thorium for ammunition. Scrap and salvage, essentially. I am aware they can mine their own resources, but I do think it would be neat for this to also be the case to add to the intelligence of them.

The corrupted units would be called "Plasin" as a general name and "Slien" for ground, "Slier" for air and "Slourn" for naval. names are just something I thought of cuz I didn't know what else but they don't have to go by this.

Corrupted units would also be weaker than their regular counterparts.

I do also thing there should be a way to harvest solidified neoplasm as a building material, maybe for a durable wall or simply ammunition but this is optional and not correlated to the main idea.

Describe how you think this content will improve the game. If you're proposing new content, mention how it may add more gameplay options or how it will fill a new niche.

It won't necessarily add more gameplay options, but I do believe it would add more depth. It would induce a higher risk to sending units to attack the neoplasm and increase the threat they pose. It would give an extra challenge as I believe the neoplasm should be a tougher threat than what we've faced off against currently, and if this was a thing I also think it would allow map makers to make use of it to create niche but interesting maps. Overall, I think it's simply a neat idea and my friends suggested I suggest it so here I did.
