In Factorio 2.0, machines will natively be flippable if they have a line of symmetry. The following machines currently do not:
Flare Stack
Washing Plant
Leaching Plant
Casting Machine
Induction Furnace
Hydro Plant
Salination Plant
Thermal Water Bore
Thermal Water Extractor
I think it's fine to leave the Thermal Water Bore / Extractor as their positions are constrained by the locations of Fissures. Player's aren't likely to be flipping blueprints of this. Similar to the base game Pumpjack; keep an eye on what changes are made to this, if any.
Sea Block modifies Washing plants, adding an additional output fluid box in the middle of the blank side
