to run our own matrix homeserver, we'll need subdomains called matrix.arcology.nyc and riot.arcology.nyc which are currently not being propagated by godaddy.

Also, godaddy is expensive ($168 per year) and it expires in 42 days.

Pending transfer to http://hello.cc, paid $21.99 for another year renewal. Cheaper than staying at godaddy.com for $39.99 for another year.

Running our own DNS servers on AWS at ns1.local-box.org and ns2.local-box.org

Transferred to hello.co , they created the SRV records for us. In the future we can look into transferring local-box.org to hello.co or setting up glue records so we can run our own DNS servers.
