suggestion; allow escaping of characters like {, %, etc. #49

By default replacements/snippets containing these characters don't work (no result). I can put them in quotes, but then I am left with the quotes. I have tried to escape them in various ways like /{, {{, ^{, but havent found a working combination.

A % at the end works, but not at the beginning.

sorry about that. I seem to have fixed it somehow. not sure what I did. Never mind.
