Snippets not expanding with space

Hi, I'm using 1.1.16 obsidian on mac

after I type snippet and

• Press space - only space is inserted
• press tab - only tab is inserted
• Press shortcut - its working

• Seems like space trigger is not working with a modern version of obsidian. Is there any alternative to this plugin?

seems like this plugin will not be updated anymore
