Do I need to have rooted device in order to make logcat?

I will try the second method. As far as I know the camera needs to have buffer fix in order to work.

Settings -> Advanced -> Stream Config -> Enable OpMode Switch -> Set Sensor -> then tap back_logical and set up the configs like this. Then go through all back lenses including back_ultrawide, back_wide etc and set them all up like this screenshot.

Note: you will only have access to the one lens until Arnova added the input method to select the physical lens IDs.

But the one you will have will work and not freeze.

This works if your device is a Snapdragon processor.

Have you tried @omaralwardian trick? Otherwise do a logcat.

In new version use shortcut, reproduce crash and share the zip file ( /gcam/log )

I can not send you log file because it is not creating. Gcam does not crash only viewfinder is frozen after 2-3 seconds and can not take pictures

Normally if you use well shortcut by reproducing your bug even if there is no crash, force closure and when opening gcam a bug report window opens, check gcam/log folder

I finally managed to create log file. I uploaded it on gdrive you can check it. The gcam crashed when i was on video mode with main lens

Did you do test on a package name other than a samsung ?

I have tested the camera. Wide-angle and telephoto cameras don't freeze but after taking photos GCAM crashes. Main lens still freezes after 2-3 seconds. Front-camera not working. There is the new log file that i created

@dimitridokuzovski for telephoto and utrawide force sabre in dev ( camera.sabre_force ) now works on a large number of sensors or disables "camera.sabre_spatial_rgb_enabled" , for wide I will see why it is poorly detected

Did you clean app cache, this log seems to use same camera value as previous log

Hi, I will share a test, in this version I added the possibility to modify the fps of the viewfinder. But you have to test a capture in mod logcat (shortcut logcat) and share the zip.

I'm preparing this version.

For viewfinder in dev "viewfinder_force_fps" min maybe 7, max 60, without forgetting opmode eis v2 or v3.

shortcut to "make a logcat", capture test or reproduce bug if there is a crash when reopening gcam a window appears to create a issues on github, attached on github logcat in zip in folder Gcam/log, if no crash just force close and reopen.
