It would be useful to go through coding and see if we have missed any patients with AFib. For instance, this study (PMID: 28416818) used the following below codes to identify patients with AFib in UKBB:
"We defined atrial fibrillation as reported during a baseline interview; presence of a procedure code for cardioversion, atrial flutter or fibrillation ablation, or atrioventricular node ablation; presence of a billing code for atrial fibrillation; or atrial fibrillation reported on a death record (the specific codes used in the definition are available upon request)"
