This is part of the README rewrite which provides an interactive way for people to learn how to use simdem/executable documentation. Mainly took out outdated information and tested to make sure everything works as expected.

Closing this PR as we decided it would be best to preserve the nature and previous functionality of simdem and create a new tutorial leaving the old one untouched.
