We need to come up with what the menu system will look like. Basically, what does the user see from the moment they boot up to the time they get dropped into a single player/multiplayer match.

My review on the Startup Screens

  1. The style between the two titles "Absurdomatic Games" and "For The Love of Power" is already different. The style needs to stay consistent. 2.if you want to do a basic startup screen then we should aim to have the whole thing melt together. At the moment it feels like three seperate parts. I propose we do something more like this: Light switch on "Absurdomatic Games" "Presents" Flicker "For The Love of Power" <-Same screen, just underneath "Presents" Louder noise for big power grid turning on The tiles turn on, could even be in a neat pattern from center outwards cause why the fuck not?" *titles turn off, immediately replaced by menu options

Come up with whatever your heart desires, the startup screen should get our name and the name of the game out there as well as get the player excited. hell, if you want you can animate a soldier running across the screen and flicking a light switch on on the other side, illuminating the title and a bunch of enemy units standing in the middle of the screen that go on to attack him.

Go crazy with it.
