@megbutler regarding "make logos/images consistently sized" should I resize the image files or just size them when displaying them?
@maysam if you can size when displaying without distorting the image (just thinking if it's resized to square but the original logo isn't square), I'd go that route. if it would distort the image, maybe we have to do the files.
let's store the original and resized files here (you'll have to request access): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hkBRHDe6wBiR2dlCnz-suhPqNQJsLxVM?usp=sharing
@megbutler 1- "put header above instead of next to logos" header is no next to the logo at the moment, those are texts included in the logo
2- at https://devopsdays.org/events/2019-baltimore/welcome/ logos are not same size, but they are in same-size boxes I think same-size boxes is better than resizing company logos
@maysam regarding the header, this refers to the orange headers that say "our partners" and "premier sponsors", like the attached image shows
the white are that "houses" the logos should be expanded (not sure the right word here?) to show all partners on page without the need for scroll
@megbutler is this still needs to be done?
[ ] remove scrolls and list all icons under either Partner or Sponsor (without need for scroll)
build so that more tiers can be added as needed (ex sponsors will have multiple levels, partners may be broken out into hackathons, universities, etc)
an example of design is https://devopsdays.org/events/2019-baltimore/welcome/ (just for reference, want to keep HB brand/theme
[ ] put header above instead of next to logos
see mobile view for visual - should look like this in all views, and probably makes sense to left justify the title
[ ] make logos/images consistently sized
again example at https://devopsdays.org/events/2019-baltimore/welcome/ ... code is open in case reference is needed: https://github.com/devopsdays/devopsdays-web
