Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It is related to the requirement of port-forwarding / requiring access to a router that allows it.
Describe the solution you'd like
Whilst not a perfect solution, one way to help minimize the friction of port-forwarding would be to try and implement UPnP.
Describe alternatives you've considered
proxy servers are also a solution, allowing the server to advertise its IP address as a proxy server, which would then tunnel the data back and forth, but this adds latency and failure points.
Additional context
I see lots of issues with port-forwarding in the Discord server, and wanted to put into consideration one possible suggestion which might help reduce those questions by making the process slightly more transparent.
