Base Magic system

Why this issue (post)

First and foremost many other parts of the system are planned so we keep this issue to keep track of the actual bases of the magic system.

Explanation

In Black Clover there is a 'base system', get 1 spell (or slight control over your attribute) until you get your grimoire and then you don't get more spells but you unlock the possibility to get more spells. That's what we're trying to reflect in block clover. Have a base system, get 1 spell. Unlock grimoire get the possibility for more spells.

Edge cases

Black clover is kinda based so it sometimes throws random b*llshit at you. Example: undead magic, it has 1 spell even after getting the grimoire it still had 1 spell. Until random stuff happened and the man got one other spell LITERALLY REINCARNATION SPELL so ye. Other example is copy magic, which is a bit more vague. Can you copy stuff before getting grimoire? Idk? Maybe for a few minutes but you only have 1 spell, touch someone's grimoire and you copy one other etc.

System

  1. Spawn in with 1 spell
  2. Reach level 5, can teleport to grimoire tower
  3. Grimoire tower get grimoire + option of 3 spells
  4. Leveling up adds spells to your pool, every 5 levels (depending on magic) you get to pick 3 out of the pool.
  5. Every 5 levels adds 3 to the pool up until a certain level (depending on magic)
  6. After nothing gets added in the pool there's every 5 levels 3 random magics you can choose from.
