Initial requirement is to enable standing Indicia importer for occurrences. https://butterfly-monitoring.net/import-occurrences

@DavidRoy - questions: 1) Is there a survey structure already suitable for this, or do I need to create one? If so, what additional attributes? 2) Presumably this is for ad-hoc records rather than transect data?

Do you think we should lock down the columns that are available for importing rather than offering the full range of default columns?

Yes, locking down is good (for this!).

@DavidRoy I've re-instated the importer on the dev site at https://dev-butterfly-monitoring.pantheonsite.io/import-ad-hoc-records and locked down the fields. The attached example shows the CSV template required. When you import you will need to choose the correct species list (e.g. EBMS Butterflies) and grid ref system (British National Grid in this case).
