@Helder-Cardos Wouldn't it be much simpler to count the number of visits to a site (or within a 20 or 50m radius) and then decide afterwards how you classify a site in a year (sites might also be counted very good in one year and bad in another)?
This is one of the issues from the moth to-do list that we made this summer (and which has been on standby for a couple of reasons), actually one of the prioritized ones since many of us want to separate occasional sites from permanent trap sites (similar to the discussion about fixed 15- minute point sites vs. 15-minute counts. I totally agree with @helder-cardos that this is a very important feature

@chrisvanswaay The idea of doing this separation afterwards can work well for annual reports or more spaced-out analyses. However, for more regular tracking of how the sites registered as "regular" are performing each month, having this categorization set up from the start would make things much easier. This way, we can actively monitor and encourage these locations to continue their monthly trapping efforts.
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to mark a location as a regular sampling site or just a temporary location. This would be important to allow the separation of constant effort locations and locations where volunteers trap once or twice a year.
Than you.
