About the app

A free, open-source game of ancient warfare

There is no arm64 buster releases in debain package (https://packages.debian.org/buster/0ad), however it has a armhf version in buster and both arm64 (bullseye backports) and armhf in bullseye.

Confirmations

Rak1ta commented 2 years ago

0ad says to use bullseye-backports to get the new version, and it says arm64. But if you just download the package, it turns out that this is a very old version. Can anyone put together the code to install? It seems to me that this game would be of interest to players if it is also updated.

I have made this set of scripts, but have not tested them outside of raspberry os (32+64 bit) on a pi 4. If it helps, good for you, but I don't know if it will. 0ad.zip

Sorry, I just realized that my zip file, on 32-bit distrobutions, only installs Alpha 23, rather than the latest, which is currently Alpha 26. My apologies.

Sorry for the delay, but this isn't high on my priorities. An yway, I tried to install 0 A.D. from the Debian Backports on 32-bit Raspberry OS, but when I tried to run the game, I recieved the following screens. 0ADFailure And After I clicked "continue," "suppress," "break," or "debug," 0ADFailure2 (This, by the way, I believe is the mods page, where you can download official mods for the game. Normally it is accessed in-game.)

Oops! hit the comment button too soon! I meant to ask if any of you guys know what is troubling the game? It might also be a good idea to search the official WildFire Games Forums.
