BrianHepler commented 4 years ago

Well, that's a problem. Can you give me the output of pm2 log 0 during a test of the selfie take? Additionally, have you been able to take any sort of image with the raspstill -o test.jpg command?

a-sameh1 commented 4 years ago

i was using MMM-Facerecognition module, the camera was busy during the selfie so that's why, it doesn't store selfie in photos, it works fine. my bad sorry !

No worries. Glad you got it sorted out.

hi... when use "raspistill -o image.jpg" i see this "the system should be configured for the legacy camera stack" but when i try .. "libcamera-still -o image.jpg " my picamera Noir take me a photo. in 2023 I had to download the "libcamera-apps" to have the function of cameras.

I tried the normal configuration -- but nothing happens. I also tried the configuration where it says to mash but nothing happens (I was not mashing the button as touchscreen but via mouse)

my config.. i have created a new folder in home call "photos" but nothin.

{ disabled: false, module: "MMM-Selfieshot", config: { debug: true, storePath: "./photos", device: "/dev/video0", shootCountdown: 2, } },

BrianHepler commented 1 year ago

Okay, thanks. I'll try to recreate your issue. Just to be sure: You went into raspi-config and enabled the camera, correct?

BrianHepler commented 1 year ago

You may wish to check out the other thread. I have instructions on how to enable the legacy camera stack.
