From our last exchange, it was not clear to me if we should aim for gif Illustrations or short videos for communicating the interface interactions.

we discussed among us in the team and we would recommend to use videos instead of GIFs to illustrate the interactions. We will enable auto-play and loop the video for the reader to see it play right away while scrolling through the article. Video will give all possibilities to whatever needs to be illustrated and there are no limitations like in a GIF.
