Maybe it helps to look at Cameron's profile in Citeproc JSON: http://feed.labs.orcid-eu.org/0000-0002-0068-716X.json. One example would be the second item, the figshare content with DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.6084/M9.FIGSHARE.660299.
Cameron, can you give me an example item that shows as ";..."?
Not sure if the screenshot below will make it into the github issue but the image shows what I get using my ORCID in the plugin settings page. The order is the same as the order in my ORCID profile so the top one (missing) is the the Neutron Scattering book chapter. The second one with issues is "Advances in neutron reflectometry at ISIS". Other ones with issues further down include:
Three stories about the conduct of science: Past, future, and present
Puroindoline-a, a lipid binding protein from common wheat, spontaneously forms prolate protein micelles in solution
Head in the clouds: Re-imagining the experimental laboratory record for the web-based networked world
Small angle neutron and X-ray scattering in structural biology: recent examples from the literature
And all the datasets at the bottom along with a few editorials. Don't know if that helps?
Cheers
Cameron

Using ImpactStory's new endpoint, you can now import entire profiles from there. The ORCiD issue remains (it's an issue with how items are imported into ORCiD profiles, in any case), but it can hopefully be avoided by going directly to ImpactStory. I've checked Cameron and Ross Mounce's pub lists, and everything seems to be showing up, with reasonably good formatting.
When using my ORCID (0000-0002-0068-716X) several elements of the works list show as ",..". The relevant works (visible at: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-0068-716X) are all non-article outputs so presumably the metadata for the non-article objects is not being parsed properly.
