I can work on this as a first trial

I think that in order to introduce the capacities of GNPS for totally new users as me, who are not actually inside Dorrestein´s lab we could introduce a description of the kind of tasks that could be performed on this platform as is separated in the website. Something like this draft ideas.

  1. Task type 1: Data analysis: It responds to the need to recognize previously characterized and studied compounds regardless of whether they have been previously annotated or not.
  2. Type of task 2: GNPS Spectrum Library Knowledgebase: It responds to the need of annotate molecules previously and not prevously reported.
  3. Type of task 3: GNPS-MassIVE Datasets: It responds to the need of where to store data.
  4. Type of task 4: Advanced Analysis Tools: It responds to the need to find biological and medical interpretation of data or improve applications of molecular networking.

What do you think?

That is correct, this specific quickstart tutorial will be for classic molecular networking.

It will be using it from here:

https://gnps-quickstart.ucsd.edu/

We can also in the future support

numbers 2, 3, 4 as separate modules.
