CollegeHub

CollegeHub is a simple online desktop tool where you can create website which showcase your resume in a chosen website template. Select from any of our leading website templates, designer fonts and color pallet with shades to best fit your professional needs and personal style. Reach your audience, stand out in every social feed, show off to recruiters. Create your portfolio and customize it whenever you want.

Setup

1. Clone the repo i.e git clone
2. install dependencies from requirements.txt
3. Run python3 manage.py makemigrations
4. Run python3 manage.py migrate
5. Run python3 manage.py runserver

Deployment Notes

This website has been deployed to Heroku.
On Heroku, we currently use a Free Dyno and Free tier of Heroku Postgresql for the database

Infrastructure and Stack

• Built using Django Framework 3.1.4
• Leverages django-storages library for storage of media/static files on AWS S3
• Leverages django-markdownx to add a markdown editor to the blog.
