Integration in MZmine #2

Hey everybody,

this sounds like an interesting project and file format. I am here to ask if you think this would be a great addition to MZmine, which is also written in Java and used by thousands of researchers to analyze their MS data. We might be able to work together to add support for your data format in MZmine. What do you think?

We are currently working on a third major restructured version of MZmine to address some new challenges in MS data analysis and are closing in on a final version of MZmine 3. https://github.com/mzmine/mzmine3

An unrelated question. Do you also support ion mobility mass spectrometry data?

Best regards, Robin Schmid

Hi Robin, We are glad to hear from you. MZmine is an outstanding project which we have been following for a while. Your team have done a really successful application and we are pleasure to do some work with you guys in the future. As you can see, Aird format exhibits strong ability in compression rate and I/O performance. We believe supporting it in MZmine would also benefit MZmine in many aspects. I would also like to send you an email introducing our team and work. We can discuss how we are going to corporate and do something to put this research field forward. Hope we can do some amazing things.
