A sandbox environment that simulates the Filecoin blockchain (similar to Remix’s web sandbox) to facilitate development and testing more lightly without having to boot up a Filecoin network.

This may be pretty big, and we may not have the knowledge to propose something specific at this point.

Simulating an entire node is, from my point of view, a potentially huge project that would need great care and maintenance (network upgrades). Maybe it could be simplified for some low-hanging fruits; a good amount of investigation and discussion with Filecoin/Lotus veterans is a must here.
