Gems and Crystals

This mod adds a larger variety of gems, crystals, tools and armor to Minecraft.

The following gems and crystals are added to the game:

• Rubies
• Sapphires
• Topaz
• Amethyst (prior to 1.17)

The following types of tools and armour are added to the game:

• Ruby Tools and Armor
• Sapphire Tools and Armor
• Emerald Tools and Armor
• Topaz Tools and Armor
• Amethyst Tools and Armor
• Quartz Tools and Armor

Tool and Armor Strength:

• Ruby and Sapphire tools and armour are both of equal strength, and are quite stronger than Diamond, due to the gems being quite rare.
• Emerald tools and armour sit between Ruby/Sapphire and Diamond tools and armour strength-wise.
• Topaz tools and armour are a bit weaker than Diamond.
• Amethyst tools and armour are a bit stronger than iron, but weaker than Topaz.
• Quartz tools and armour are a bit weaker than iron.

Note: A configuration file can be altered to change values in regard to ore generation, tool values and armor values.
