Nethack Server failing to authenticate #56

Occasionally, the nethack server will get itself into a state where when you try and log into it, it will fail to recognize your username if it's already created, and it will try to register you again. Whether or not the username is already created, the registration will fail and it'll kick you off the server.

maybe error handling on the db connection?
