The images are tiled with various artifacts.

It looks like you are using an SDXL model. The Ultimate upscaler does not work with SDXL models using the default settings. There is a reddit thread on this topic that goes into details https://www.reddit.com/r/comfyui/comments/17pkqh5/sdxl_ultimate_sd_upscale/ You need much larger tile sizes and padding. Also, you may need a different control net version ( SDXL vs 1.5 need different versions)
