it would be cool if soulfork sets enemies on soulfire instead of normal fire

You should open an issue with Impaled mod.
My mod provides an API for other mods to use to set entities on the correct kind of fire. For this reason, integration depends on other mods, not this one. Other mods have to add Soul Fire'd as a required/optional dependency and use its API and everything will work seamlessly.
