Hi Garry, Wire up according to the docs for your type of WiFi shield. For the initial test, leave the config untouched with no entries for SSID or password etc. The system will boot up with the WiFi Shield in Access Point mode. Look at the bootup log using eg the Arduino IDE and you should see some WiFi timeouts and then "Connected" and the IP address, usually 192.168.4.1, I think. If you see this it's working. If you have Engine Driver (Android) in your phone or an iOS app you should see the WiFi Shield show up as "DCC-EX_" and can connect. If it doesn't work straight off, visit our Network channel in Discord and describe the problem and post the log. Once you have established that it works in AP mode, you may choose to change the setup to connect via your router if you wish. Our Networking Discord here: https://discord.com/channels/713189617066836079/735194734611398676 Instructions here (but don't try flashing the WiFi shield unless you have to because of confirmed problems, it can be difficult): https://dcc-ex.com/ex-commandstation/advanced-setup/supported-wifi/index.html
