Check the DC voltage with <1 MAIN> Pin 3 5V Pin 12 2.5V Pin 9 0V Pin A0 ~0V Pin A4 5V
Perhaps one of the pins has not made a good connection in the Arduino header socket, and re-seating the motor shield will resolve the issue.
If your problem is not resolved, the discord server is quite useful to discuss and work thru issues. https://dcc-ex.com/support/index.html#preferred-option-discord
What is the output on the USB serial? What kind of Arduino? Uno? Mega?

Title: Main track not powering up using MotorShield8874
Description: Hi Dcc team, I have setup EX-Commandstation on a raspberry pi, to get it to work I downloaded the Commandstation code, edited the config.h to specify that I was using the 8874 board then uploaded it to the Arduino usi g the IDE. The prog track works fine and I can communicate to the loco. I have tried the EX-Throttle and JMRI to power on the main track but it's not coming on . There are two LEDs next to the plug on the motor shield, when I turn power on only the B channel lights up. Even when I send the 1 MAIN command the led by the B power connector lights up but the A one does not. I have checked the rails and there is no voltaoltage on the main track, there is 15V AC on the prog track. Because I didnt use the installer (because I am on a PI) have I missed some configuration maybe. Many thanks for any pointers Charlotte
