Hello,

A few days ago I purchased an EX-CommandStation from Millenium Engineering in Perth, Australia.

I’ve tried setting up the unit but I’m having issues and hoping you can provide some assistance.

The unit is connected to my computer, is lit and the small monitor is working.

I’ve attached a number of screenshots and a PDF of an error message.

I also tried setting up using the ESP32 Dev Kit with similar results but got different error message. Ref screenshot 152207 and second error message PDF.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Regards,

Graham

Failed uploading normally points to an USB problem, not a problem of the CS or the installer. Like bad USB cable or bad Windows USB/COM driver.

If you get so far as to select someting on the COM port, do select the ESP32 alternative if it is not detected automatically.

You have to decide if you want to connect the CS to your existing WiFi or run it standalone and select the options accordingly.

Hey Graham, it would probably help to see a screen shot of "Device Manager", which you can get to with a right-click on the Windows start menu. Particularly want the section under "Ports (COM & LPT)"
