Title: DCC++ EX doesn't work

Description: My DCC++ EX Command Station EX can read from and write to DCC chip on locomotives but cannot move locomotive or perform any sound functions or turn light on/off using JMRI Decoder Pro. I am using ELEGOO Mega and Deek-Robot motor shield. Mega is powered by USB and optional 9V DC 1 amp adapter. Motor shield is powered by 12V 3 amp adapter. I wrote my own programs to test the Arduino and motor shield. The tests worked as expected. I don't know what to try next. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you run the loco if you lift it from the prog track to the main track?

I think JMRI does not yet have a button to make the prog track as the main track which is needed to run the loco. What you on the other hand can do is to open the DCC++ command window and there type <1 JOIN> which will send the main track signal as well on the prog track until you turn it off <0>.
