When not selecting a supervisor, going forward is impossible

When entering an application as a PhD student or as a student, selecting a supervisor is required, but it can be postponed. However, going forward when not having selected a supervisor is not possible at the moment. The page reloads instead.

This is annoying combined with the fact that sometimes supervisors haven't signed into the portal yet. Users should be able to continue without them selected, and only be stopped at the point of submission.

Setting yourself to Postdoc temporarily isn't a good solution because you might forget and accidentally submit as such.
